Data deletion

You can have the data Datatrop Socials holds about you deleted at any time, in any of these ways.

If you connected an account to the app

1. Sign in to Datatrop Socials, open Accounts, and choose Disconnect next to the account. The account and everything retrieved from it (posts, comments, messages and statistics) are deleted straight away.
2. Or remove the app from the platform’s own settings:
   • Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove Datatrop Socials, and choose to delete its data. We receive the request automatically and delete the data; Facebook shows you a confirmation code you can check on this page.
   • Instagram: Settings → Website permissions / Apps and websites → remove Datatrop Socials.
   • Google / YouTube: Google security settings → remove Datatrop Socials.
   • LinkedIn and X: remove the app in each platform’s connected-apps settings.

If you commented on or messaged our accounts

The app may hold your public name, username, profile picture and the text of comments or messages sent to Datatrop’s accounts. To have them deleted, email sales@datatrop.in with your username on the platform. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.

Backups

Deleted data can remain in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which those backups are deleted automatically.
